Fees Overview

Last updated: 17 April 2026 · All amounts in Mongolian Tögrög (MNT) · Governed by Mongolian law

This page explains how the total price of a Booking is determined, what each Fee is for, and when Hosts get paid. All prices and fees are displayed and settled in Mongolian Tögrög (MNT).

At a glance

A Booking total is made up of Host components (Booking Price, Cleaning Fee, Add-Ons), Vendor costs, and GÜÜR fees (Guest Fee, Host Fee, optional Concierge Fee). Hosts handle VAT/e-Barimt for rental income; GÜÜR handles e-Barimt for its own Service Fees. Host payouts are made in MNT within 2–4 business days of a completed Booking.

Introduction

The total price of a Booking depends on several factors and the specifics of your Event. This page explains how the price of your Booking is determined and the Fees you pay to GÜÜR for using our Services. All Users acknowledge and agree that all payments shall be made in accordance with this Fees Overview.

The total price for a Booking will be presented prior to your acceptance. Once accepted, our Cancellation and Refund Policy applies. We (GÜÜR), via our local payment partners (such as QPay, SocialPay, or local banks), may authorise a hold for the total price in Mongolian Tögrög (MNT) against your bank account or other payment methods linked to your Account when you request a Booking. When a Booking is accepted by a Host or Vendor, we will charge your Account for the full total price. If you update a Booking, we may adjust the Host or Vendor Fees accordingly, which may result in either additional amounts owed or a refund of amounts paid.

VAT and e-Barimt

Hosts are solely responsible for applying correct Value Added Tax (VAT, НӨАТ) to their Booking Price and providing a valid e-Barimt through the e-barimt.mn system for the full booking amount.

GÜÜR does not issue e-Barimt receipts for the Host's rental income but will provide an e-Barimt for its own Service Fees in accordance with the General Department of Taxation's e-Barimt requirements. Where Mongolian law requires the issuance of an e-Barimt for a particular taxable transaction, GÜÜR will issue or facilitate the issuance of such receipt to the Guest.

If GÜÜR does not allow for the input of indirect Taxes in your country, you are required to account for any applicable Taxes in your Booking Price itself. In certain jurisdictions, GÜÜR may be required to collect and/or remit sales Taxes on behalf of Hosts and/or Guests; in such jurisdictions the applicable sales Tax amount will be added to the total fees charged to Guests.

For more information on GÜÜR's treatment of Taxes, see the Help Center and GSA §1.4.

Additional Fees & Costs

Guests may be charged for additional fees associated with their use of a Space or services (“Additional Fees”). These may include:

Overtime Charge

Where you exceed the use limitations of a Space, additional fees will be based on the hourly rate for the Space, at one or one-and-a-half times the scheduled rate determined by the Host, and will be billed in 30-minute increments, calculated according to the local time in Ulaanbaatar (UTC+8).

Over Capacity Fees

For over-intensive use of a Space (for example, materially exceeding the agreed number of Attendees in violation of a Supplemental Booking Agreement), GÜÜR may, in its sole discretion, impose an additional use charge.

Damages and other costs

Occasionally the terms or expectations of a Booking are not met and additional costs may be owed by a User. This may include damage to or misuse of a Space (or personal property within it), inappropriate use of Vendor Services, excess rubbish requiring additional waste disposal or cleaning beyond standard expectations, violations of the Booking Agreement or Community Guidelines, insufficient funds or unauthorised use of a payment account, or other claims.

Where Additional Fees, Fines, or other charges are owed by you, you agree that GÜÜR may — via its third-party payment partners (e.g. QPay, SocialPay, or bank transfer reconciliation) — immediately charge any payment method linked to your Account. Disputes are subject to the dispute resolution process in the GSA.

Rule-break fines

In most cases, GÜÜR does not support charging arbitrary amounts for Additional Fees without verifiable third-party values (e.g. damages, add-ons, cleaning). Exceptions apply where a Guest breaks a Host's rule, subject to:

  • Hosts may charge fines for breaking a rule if the amount was specified in their rules at the time of Booking confirmation, they possess evidence of the incident, and the fine amount does not exceed ₮850,000.
  • Fines exceeding ₮850,000 will be capped at ₮850,000 — unless the Guest specifically agreed to the higher amount at the time of Booking or a third-party invoice substantiates the charge.
  • Rule-break fees relating to basic cleaning, overtime, or additional Attendees are generally not permitted, except where the attendee count exceeds the maximum capacity of the Space set in the Listing.

How GÜÜR calculates its Service Fees — Guest Fees

GÜÜR charges Guests a processing fee (“Guest Fee”) to help cover the costs of running our business, including payment gateway fees (QPay, SocialPay, etc.), transaction processing, and providing support for your booking and all services added.

The Guest Fee is a flat 5% of the Booking subtotal — the Booking Price plus any Host Add-Ons and the Cleaning Fee. It is added to the subtotal at checkout, so the total charged to a Guest is the subtotal plus the 5% Guest Fee. The Guest Fee is non-refundable except where our Cancellation and Refund Policy provides otherwise. Guests always see the exact amount during the booking process.

Host Fees

GÜÜR charges Hosts a service fee (“Host Fee”), which is retained by GÜÜR from a Host's payout. The Host Fee is 15% of the Booking subtotal (the Booking Price plus any Host Add-Ons and Cleaning Fee), reduced to 10% for qualifying Hero venues, and is retained at the time a Host's payout is initiated. A Host's net payout is the Booking subtotal less the Host Fee. Hosts are made aware of the exact amount during the booking process.

Payout currencyMongolian Tögrög (MNT) — direct to the Host's verified Mongolian bank account
WithholdingGÜÜR may withhold a payout if a dispute is initiated between a Guest and a Host or Vendor, or as otherwise permitted by the GSA
Updates, reschedules, cancellationsPayout timing may be modified where a Booking is updated, rescheduled, or cancelled
Additional Fees / damages / disputesPayouts of Additional Fees for overtime or damages, or resulting from a dispute, will be paid within a reasonable time after settlement of the dispute

Vendor Fees

GÜÜR charges a fee to Vendors (“Vendor Fee”) whose services are utilised by Guests through the Platform. Vendors will be notified of the exact amount in a separate agreement defining the relationship between GÜÜR and each Vendor. Vendor Services may be limited to specific districts within Ulaanbaatar or other designated regions.

Concierge Services Fees

Guests may elect to use Concierge Services to assist with Booking a Space or Vendor Services. Hosts may use Concierge Services to assist with Listing a Space. Concierge Services depend on your unique needs and may include identifying specific Vendors (such as catering or furniture rental), scouting Spaces for your specific needs, or assistance in event planning.

Fees for Concierge Services are in addition to the Fees for the Space or Vendor Services and are charged at the time they are confirmed, or are set at a fixed price when explicitly stated (such as Concierge Services for Listing a Space as a Host). The specific Fees will be presented before you confirm a Booking. Concierge Services may be limited to specific districts within Ulaanbaatar or other designated regions.

Cancellations

All Fees are subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
